Additionally, it shares information about all things historical in nature – names, heraldry, events, people, places, buildings, archaeology, anthropology, ancient peoples and other such.

The Ancient Family Name of ‘Yardley’ has been around for a very long time and is also mentioned in both the Anglo-Saxon Chronicles as well as the Doomsday Book. Like many ‘ancient’ family names did in our long past, they took a description of the environs of the land upon which families, tribes, clans and communities lived and existed in order to confirm identity and connection with the land of their birth – people being “born of the land” pertains that it is the land that also defines people.

A new modern set of Arms, or Heraldic Achievement, has been created in the ‘private’ and defines the name and holders of this name now and through history. The motto is: “Ad Discere – Ad Querere – Ad Servie – Ad Infinitum” which translated from the Latin says: “To Seek, To Learn, To Serve, to Infinity”. The ‘Ancient House of Yardley’ works in conjunction with an unincorporated, fully constituted, not-for-profit private members foundation called, ‘The Yardley Foundation’ and through which it shares its work.

  • Support: A small direct monthly online paid Subscription of £4.00 per month to the ‘Yardley Foundation’ grants access to all online work-streams and private in-person events and activities of the Foundation, and maintains and sustains its work. Voluntary free-will contributions of any amount towards the work of the Foundation is also gratefully accepted and appreciated and helps it to keep on keeping on with the work! Attendance or participation with people facing in-person events are offered for a small gold coin voluntary contribution in order to ensure all expenses incurred are covered.

Participation and Subscription

While ‘Ancient House of Yardley’ does not offer direct in-person events its online work is hosted through the ‘Yardley Foundation’ and via the work-stream ‘Catalyst Ascending’ alongside the other work that forms part of the Foundation.

The ‘Yardley Foundation’ offers direct people facing in-person participation for events, activities, seminars, workshops and other such is offered directly through the Foundation as well as through the ‘Taurus Arising’ work-stream (which is focused on matters pertaining the spiritual and other such). In-person events and activities are only offered in the South West of England at this time. Access to some of the more private events may require having a Yardley Foundation Membership (a £1.00 one-off fee will apply) while others will be open to the general population – such events will require a small voluntary cash contribution at the time of the event.

Online participation and engagement is offered for seminars, conferences, discussion groups, events and other such for a small direct monthly subscription to the ‘Yardley Foundation’ of only £4.00 which grants access to all active online work-streams and the work of a more in-depth and challenging kind.

Of course, the general social and video media, podcasts, blog and vlog material is available to all.
